MONUPED Launched updated website in October to strengthen knowledge sharing.
The MonuPED project is pleased to announce the launch of our newly updated website at monuped.eu. The redesign reflects our commitment to transparency, accessibility, and effective dissemination of project results across Europe’s heritage-sensitive urban environments.
New Sections in the Spotlight: Living Labs and Solutions
The centrepiece of the update is the integration of two key content areas directly into the website’s header menu, giving visitors immediate access to the heart of the project:
Living Labs: A dedicated section introducing our three pilot cities functioning as real-world testbeds and two case studies:
- Leipzig (Germany), visit link https://monuped.eu/living-lab-leipzig-west/
- Prague 6 (Czech Republic), visit link https://monuped.eu/living-lab-prague-6/
- Alba Iulia (Romania), visit link https://monuped.eu/living-lab-alba-iulia/
Each city brings distinct heritage challenges and energy profiles, and the new section will track their progress as PED concepts are applied, refined, and validated in monument-protected settings.
Case studies: The two case studies represent very different scales and contexts. Koper a coastal Mediterranean old town in Slovenia and a small-town municipal building in Pinkafeld Austria. Visit link to view the case studies.
Solutions [https://monuped.eu/solutions/] is a new section presenting the approaches, methods, and tools MonuPED is developing to reconcile energy transition with heritage protection. The section provides an overview of each of the nine tools, visit this link here. For each of the solution, a short overview video presents it, visit link here.
